Not every purple gun from each company can be pooped out with a gemstone camo for example a Maliwan sniper.
Here is a chart for which companies will have which sort of purple gemstone camo. Everytime you feed her she can puke blue weapons or poop any other weapon but the purple ones will always have a gemstone prefix. After that quest you may feed her as much as you want. After that another side quest available where you have to feed her with 5 Eridium. The first part of the quest you only need to pet her. Spoiler Alert once you’ve beat the campaign and rescued the queen Buttstallion the diamond pony she will appear in Flamerock Refuge with a side quest open. There are many different kinds of weapons in Borderlands 2 with different camos but there’s one specific kind that no one really knows about unless you own the Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep and these are gemstone weapons.
